“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.” Carl Gustav Jung

“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.”
Carl Gustav Jung

We always act according to what we believe. And what we believe is not only our conscious convictions about ourselves, others, and life, but mainly the deep-seated beliefs in the subconscious, where our entire past experience is stored. In every situation, without exception, we are creators of our reality. Even when we create it unconsciously—the difference is that then we are victims of our subconscious and lack conscious control over our lives. That is why our subconscious beliefs about ourselves, others, and life are crucial for our ability to consciously create reality.

When we think, feel, and do things we don’t consciously want to do, it means we are on autopilot, driven by the subconscious. At that moment, we cannot be conscious creators. Unless we align our subconscious programs and beliefs about ourselves, others, and life—adopted and copied in childhood—with the conscious, authentic desires and visions of a fulfilled and happy life from the level of adult awareness, we will never become conscious creators.

The subconscious is a million times stronger than the conscious creative mind and its desires; when they are in conflict, the subconscious always wins. If, in our subconscious, we don’t believe in ourselves or our abilities, or if we feel inferior, we cannot manifest our wishes into external reality, because they stand or fall on these underlying beliefs.

But once we understand who we are, discover our immense power to create reality, and believe that under the right conditions everything is possible—this very belief, this faith in ourselves and in life, releases the energy needed to materialize our wishes.

Yet belief alone is not enough. We must begin to act. By understanding the causes and connections between subconscious, conscious mind, and the creation of reality, we make the first step on the path to conscious creation of life—and begin to create the circumstances in which anything is possible.
