Granola that surprises. Carob chocolate brings a gentle sweet depth, while dried sour cherries balance it with their natural tartness. The result is a chocolate-fruity combination with no cocoa, no caffeine, and no added sugar. The base consists of premium tiger nuts, complemented by carob chocolate, dried sour cherries, and chicory syrup. Gluten-free, lactose-free, and completely free of preservatives and artificial colorings.

Every batch of granola is handmade in Slovakia using select ingredients.

Premium tiger nuts from Valencia — not your average nut

Tiger nuts are not tree nuts; they are underground tubers (Cyperus esculentus) grown in the Alboraia region of Valencia — a Protected Designation of Origin (PDO Chufa de Valencia). The sunny climate of Valencia gives these tubers a natural sweetness and rich flavor that common varieties simply cannot match.

It’s a tuber, not a nut — meaning it is naturally suitable even for people with nut allergies. Gluten-free, lactose-free, allergen-free.

What makes it exceptional

• 63% premium tiger nuts (PDO Chufa de Valencia) — the foundation of the granola, featuring a naturally subtle sweet taste and a high fiber content. Tiger nuts make up most of the blend and are the primary source of crunch, flavor, and nutritional value.

• 15% carob chocolate — a vegan, cocoa-free, and caffeine-free carob-based chocolate. Made from shea oil, dehydrated rice extract, carob flour (17%), carob proteins, sunflower lecithin, and natural flavoring. Carob has a naturally sweet, subtle caramel-chocolate flavor — without the bitterness typical of cocoa and without oxalates. For sensitive individuals and those on an AIP diet, it is a safer alternative to traditional chocolate.

• 9% dried sour cherries — gently tart with an intense fruity flavor that beautifully balances the sweetness of the carob chocolate. Sour cherries are naturally rich in antioxidants, including anthocyanins, which give them their characteristic deep red color. This exact combination — sweet chocolate and tart fruit — makes this granola the most flavor-balanced among all carob granolas.

• 13% chicory syrup — a natural sweetener with a low glycemic index and prebiotic benefits. Together with the tiger nuts, it is responsible for the high fiber content of this granola.

Fiber and hydration

This granola is high in fiber from tiger nuts and inulin from chicory syrup. Fiber works best when you are well-hydrated. Therefore, we recommend paying attention to a regular fluid intake throughout the day, especially if you include tiger nut products in your diet regularly.

Every jar of TIGERNUT granola is crafted in our own production facility in Slovakia — by hand, with a focus on gentle processing to retain the maximum nutritional potential of the ingredients.

We pack it in glass for a specific reason: glass doesn't affect the taste, contains no BPA or other harmful plastics, and is easily reusable. If we care about what goes into our bodies, we should care about the packaging, too.
