Premium tiger nuts from Valencia — not your average nut

Tiger nuts are not tree nuts; they are underground tubers (Cyperus esculentus) grown in the Alboraia region of Valencia — a Protected Designation of Origin (PDO Chufa de Valencia). The sunny climate of Valencia gives these tubers a natural sweetness and rich flavor that common varieties simply cannot match.

It’s a tuber, not a nut — meaning the tiger nut itself is naturally allergen-free. Please note, however: this granola contains cashews and may contain trace amounts of peanuts and other nuts.


What makes it exceptional

  • 62% premium tiger nuts (PDO Chufa de Valencia) — the foundation of the granola, featuring a naturally subtle sweet taste and a high fiber content. Tiger nuts make up most of the blend and are the primary source of crunch, flavor, and nutritional value.

  • 15% white carob chocolate — a vegan, cocoa-free, and caffeine-free carob-based white chocolate. Made from shea oil, dehydrated rice extract, sugar, carob proteins, sunflower lecithin, and natural flavoring. Unlike dark carob chocolate, the white variant has a smoother, creamier taste — without bitterness, offering a pleasant sweetness that pairs beautifully with mango.

  • 7% cashews — a smooth, creamy nut flavor and a natural source of healthy monounsaturated fats, magnesium, and zinc. Allergen — this product is not suitable for individuals with a nut allergy.

  • 3% freeze-dried mango — intense tropical sweetness preserved through freeze-drying in its full quality. Mango adds a distinct fruity note and a tropical character to this granola.

  • 13% chicory syrup — a natural sweetener with a low glycemic index and prebiotic benefits. Together with the tiger nuts, it is responsible for the high fiber content of this granola.


Fiber and hydration

This granola contains 25.62g of fiber per 100g — a combination of fiber from tiger nuts and inulin from chicory syrup. Fiber works best when you are well-hydrated. Therefore, we recommend paying attention to a regular fluid intake throughout the day, especially if you include tiger nut products in your diet regularly.

Every jar of TIGERNUT granola is crafted in our own production facility in Slovakia — by hand, with a focus on gentle processing to retain the maximum nutritional potential of the ingredients.

We pack it in glass for a specific reason: glass doesn't affect the taste, contains no BPA or other harmful plastics, and is easily reusable. If we care about what goes into our bodies, we should care about the packaging, too.
